Snow

It is snowing at last. We finally got some snow. It is just beautiful and very cold! It will be down in the twenties tonight so the old woodstoves are burning. Trying to get over the flu so I have been eating hot cinnamon candy to keep my throat from hurting so bad and it also helps suppress the cough.

Life in southern Indiana

Woke up to the sunshine today and thought it looks like spring. Or maybe global warming? My avon came in so I have lots and lots of beauty supplies to sort. Then I get a call they need me to come in work. So I am getting ready to go in so I can get a few extra hours on my check. This month is flying by, it will soon be a new year. I will be celebrating my 16th wedding anniversary on the 31st of this month. Wonder what exciting adventure my husband has planned!

No blizzard here

I waited up for the big snow but it never hit. I did see some snowflakes flowing through the air but it looks like that snow storm has hit somewhere else. It has been a cold and dreary day. I still dream of owning some land out in the middle of no where and living off the grid I just wonder when that will become a reality. I am still working part time. I still don't make enough to pay off the bills and wish they would just disappear. Not likely though. I put my resume in for another job and hope to hear something soon. Car payment is late,paid the insurance,credit card payments are still due and so is the electric,water, and gas. Oh please let me go live off the grid in the mesa. :) Or somewhere! I just want a simple life.

Deer Hunting

It's that time of the year again and the boys are in the deer hunting mode. Two of them have already got one. The deer jerky is delightful! One buck and one doe. This year the limit is 8 in our county and one buck. So we still have lots more to hunt for. I love to go deer hunting myself and might even get a chance to go this year. We will just have to wait and see.

Rainy day

I get to go to work today. It was my day off but I need the hours bad. So I am working for someone else today. It's cold and rainy out there today.
